The importance of instilling the concept of...

It's officially October which means children are getting excited about Halloween! We've wanted to share some our favorites Halloween activities and hope you and your children will have some monstrous fun.
What you need:
	Roll a Monster Game printable
	Playdough
	Container for the different monster parts
	Various wiggly eyes
	Straws
	Felt
	Pompoms or yarn
	Dice
	Scissors
Print the Roll a Monster Game printable and use one copy to label the different container parts. We used a utensil drawer organizer.

Eyes = Wiggly eyes
	Arms = Drinking straw cut into pieces
	Hair = pompoms or yarn
	Mouth = Felt cut into different mouth shapes
	Feet = Feet from printable or use legos, sticks, etc.
Game Instructions:
Hand out a large piece of playdough to each player. Let the players form the playdough in to a monster shape. Taking turns, each player rolls the dice and places the matching body part on their playdough monster.

If the player rolls a body part he/she already has, he/she looses a turn. If the player rolls a six, he/she can choose any body part to place on his/her playdough monster. The player that first completes his/her monster wins the game.

Let children use the different parts to create their playdough monsters. Is it scarry or is it nice?
