Thanksgiving: On the Table Week 4

Week 4 of the On The Table theme celebrates Thanksgiving and the spirit of gratitude. Children express thanks for their many blessings through art, writing, reading, movement, and song. In addition, they will learn how to set a table in order to participate in preparations on the big day. Throughout the festivities, children continue to work on strengthening skills with beginning sounds, rhyming words, manipulatives, pencils, patterns, graphing, shapes, and colors. They also build vocabulary in the categories of family and dining words.
