The importance of instilling the concept of...

What wears a tuxedo, waddles like a duck but can “fly” through water, and is the star of movies? A penguin, of course!
Our book of the month is Tacky the Penguin.
This month KidsSoup has created a “raft” (a group of penguins floating on the water) of penguin-related activities, games, crafts, felt stories and rhymes, and emergent readers. Your students will learn penguin facts and participate in science experiments, practice letter, sight word, and color recognition, apply math skills to count and add and subtract, use their imaginations in small world penguin inspired play areas, and create imaginative penguin crafts. So, act like a Rockhopper penguin and start bouncing—there’s a lot to discover this month!
