Spring is in the air. Flowers are just beginning to bloom. It’s time for planting seeds and growing beans. This month, your children will use beans, sunflower seeds, and flowers to play games and participate in activities that reinforce math skills such as counting and measuring and language arts skills such as segmenting syllables, pronouncing CVC words, and recognizing sight words and letters. Our theme this month also contains an array of science-based, original emergent readers and lesson plans for a variety of popular children’s books. So dig and start planting the seeds of new knowledge.
