A for Alligator Activities and Crafts

A for Alligator. Our book of the month, The Lady with the Alligator Purse, will have your children laughing out loud at the nonsense verses and hilarious illustrations. Just like the story, our alligator theme this month is chock full of surprises and fun. Your students will learn alligator facts and participate in science experiments. They will acquire and increase their reading skills, such as letter and sight word recognition, dividing words into syllables, and decoding CVC words. They will apply math skills to count, add and subtract, compare numbers, and measure. They will create fun alligator crafts that promote the development of fine motor skills. And they will use their imaginations in small world alligator-inspired play areas.
